We strive to provide friendly and knowledgeable service from the time you check in until you leave. Inside the office, you will find a relaxing waiting area and well-equipped treatment rooms. We are proud to offer cutting edge dental diagnostic equipment designed to identify the very beginnings of decay and disease even before symptoms are present. We happily accept walk-in patients and emergencies. However, if you wish to make an appointment with one of our Alice dentists, please stop by our office during regular business hours.

The History and Growth of Alice Dental Associates in South Texas

For nearly three decades, Dr. Roel Garza and his family have been dedicated to providing quality, compassionate dental care to families throughout South Texas. What began as a single dental office has grown into a trusted family dental practice serving generations of patients in Alice and surrounding communities.

A Vision for Exceptional Dental Care

Dr. Roel Garza began his dental career by opening his first dental practice on July 29, 1996, in San Diego, Texas. Through his commitment to patient care, professionalism, and community service, the practice quickly earned a reputation for providing high-quality dental services in a welcoming and caring environment.

As patient demand continued to grow, Dr. Garza expanded his services into Alice, Texas. In 1998, he purchased the established practice of Dr. Schubert and opened a second dental office located at 1006 E. Sixth Street in Alice. During that same period, he also acquired the dental practice of Dr. Saenz in Falfurrias, Texas. Dr. Saenz remained with the practice for several years, helping ensure continuity of care for patients while supporting the transition and growth of the expanding dental group.

Building a State-of-the-Art Dental Office in Alice, TX

With continued growth throughout South Texas, Dr. Garza recognized the need for a larger, centralized dental facility capable of serving patients more efficiently and comfortably. In 2001, he built a modern, state-of-the-art dental clinic in Alice, Texas, consolidating all office locations into one comprehensive dental practice. This location remains the current home of the practice today.

Over the years, the office has continued to evolve by combining advanced dental technology with personalized patient care. The practice has proudly served children, adults, and families seeking comprehensive dental services, including preventive care, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, crowns, dentures, root canals, restoring dental implants, and family dentistry.

A Family Tradition in Dentistry

Over the course of his career, Dr. Garza has worked alongside numerous associate dentists and dental professionals, fostering a team-oriented environment dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The practice became even more family-centered when his daughter, Dr. Jessica Garcia, joined the practice as a dentist in 2008. In 2015, his daughter, Erica Salinas, joined the team as a registered dental hygienist. Together, they continue to play vital roles in the ongoing growth, success, and commitment to excellence that define the practice today.

Behind the scenes, Dr. Garza’s wife, Cynthia Moses Garza, has played an essential role in the success and continued growth of the practice by managing the administrative and operational aspects of the office. Together, the Garza family has built a long-standing dental practice rooted in integrity, compassion, professionalism, and community service.
