Meet Dr. James R. Prukop, DDS

Dr. James R. Prukop, DDS

Dr. Prukop is a native of South Texas where he attended Bishop High School. He next attended Texas A&M University Kingsville where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. Over his summers home from college, Dr. Prukop would work on the family farm.

During his time at TAMUK, Dr. Prukop started the TAMUK Pre-Dental Society and served as President. As an undergraduate, Dr. Prukop also spent time shadowing a local dentist which ultimately led to his pursuit of dentistry. He has seen what a personal impact dentistry can have on one's life, and he seeks to provide dental care that is of the highest standard to all of his patients.

After graduating from college, Dr. Prukop attended The University of Texas Dental School at Houston. Dr. Prukop believes that every conversation starts with a smile and is committed to positively impacting his patients in the same way that dentistry has impacted his life. The most rewarding thing about being a dentist for Dr. Prukop is the ability to provide efficient, effective care to all his patients and ease their pain or anxiety.
